Nimu is an Owlin character created for my ongoing Dungeons & Dragons campaign. Rather than producing a polished portfolio illustration, this piece was intended as a quick visual reference to help my players connect a face to the character during our sessions.
The focus was on communicating personality and recognizable features in a short amount of time, prioritizing readability and storytelling over intricate rendering. Projects like this are a fun way for me to practice character design outside of client work while bringing my tabletop campaigns to life.
